Our team of experienced writers spend hours researching products to include in articles. Gentlemen, it’s time to master the art of manscaping. So, with that in mind, what is the best way to address what nature gave you, given that every body part requires specific attention?įirst, ensure you have a bathroom at the ready. What is safe to use for one, is a hard pass for another. However, there is a right tool for every body part. Whether you want to remove it altogether, provide a light shadow, or simply control the bush, everybody’s preferences differ. The 9000 case is really nice but all the guards just sit in the pouch together… making it annoying to grab the one you want without taking them all out. There’s no right way to approach the craft of body hair grooming. It’s a bigger case than the one that comes with the 9000 series but it has an individual spot for EACH attachment which is nice. You can buy after market Phillips hard case for the 7000 series though for like $20 or something. ![]() The biggest reason I got the 9000 is it comes with a decent hard case. It has a 6/hr battery life compared to the 7000 5/hr battery life. Except it comes with two blades (regular and T-Blade) and a dedicated body trimmer blade and the usual foil, nose and precision blade. I just got a Phillips Multigroom 9000 (not the one with the thumb wheel built in… don’t get that one it’s trash) I’ve had no issues with my blades falling off the 9000, which is the exact same trimmer as the 7000 series with more attachments and a hard case. Which is the current reddits preffered beard trimmer/clipper? Being able to 0 gap? Not necessary, since I own shavette, but certainly a nice touch.Replaceable blades? For when my beard starts bending away from them like with my current Braun.guides for 3 or 4mm, 6 or 8mm (I am running short beard until we can stop wearing masks, then I am used to medium beard).Wouldn't "basic" Wahl clipper with few cutting guides at the same price point be more durable/better quality than some clipper with tons of extensions? The Phillips has good reviews, but what I am affraid of is "it trying to do too much". I do not mind paying about 20% in taxes, but having to import it myself, it is 100% price increase.Īndis Slimline - well, other than trusting the Wahl company more, I am afraid of the cordless design, since I had bad experience with my Braun. While I do not mind that price, I do not feel like I am getting my moneys worth. I could import it from US amazon, but it would cost me $110 total. Sadly the Wahl Peanut is not available in my country. Basically the most recommended are Wahl Peanut, Andis Slimline and Phillips Multigroom 7000. I have bean searching thru multiple reddits and review sites with posts in the last 3 years, searching for replacement. Now it takes me multiple passes to get all hair and I have to finish up with scissors anyway. Like it got the job done, but after 2 years I could only use it corded and after my beard started to "bending" away from the blades about year later. Considering I have him nearly 7years is not bad. Which is the current reddits preferred beard trimmer/clipper replacement. ![]() The mods are somewhat flexible with the rules as long as the OP explains in the comments.
